Although rumors of a PS5 port have been circulating, Bethesda hasn’t confirmed a release date, and recent reports suggest fans may have to wait quite a while longer.

For a while, people have been predicting that Starfield might come to the PS5 by 2026. This made sense because other games from Bethesda, like the remastered Oblivion, are now available on PlayStation. With Starfield recently reaching its two-year mark, many thought a PS5 version was likely. However, there could also be a significant wait between the announcement and the actual release. Until Bethesda officially confirms their plans, everything remains based on rumors and speculation.

A well-known insider, NatetheHate, has predicted that Starfield will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, in addition to a PlayStation 5 release. If accurate, Bethesda will likely announce and launch both versions around the same time.
