It appears that the first Demon Slayer Infinity Castle film will indeed prove to be a satisfying wait, since its extended running time has now been definitively revealed.
The forthcoming film, marking the start of the conclusion for the widely adored anime series, runs for approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes.
According to a recent announcement on the official Demon Slayer website, it has been confirmed that the upcoming movie will surpass the runtime of the previous Demon Slayer feature film, The Mugen Train, which was 1 hour and 57 minutes long.
It also confirms that the age rating for the movie will be PG12.
This upcoming movie appears to address concerns about its pace and coverage of crucial points in the Infinity Castle storyline. Notably, it’s the first of three new Demon Slayer films that will be released.
I’m observing that instead of another season for Demon Slayer, we’re getting the Infinity Castle movie trilogy. This cinematic journey promises to wrap up the extraordinary saga about young Tanjiro, whose quest for revenge begins when his sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon.
As an observer, I’m excitedly noting that the film I’m following will premiere on July 18th, but I’ll have to be patient if I’m in the UK or US as we’ll only get to see it on September 12th.
