Our Take On Whether Brainiac Could Appear In James Gunn’s Superman Movie
As a die-hard fan of superheroes, I have to share my thoughts on the matter. According to Gunn’s statements, it seems unlikely that Brainiac will make an appearance in the upcoming Superman film, neither in the main plot nor the post-credits scene. With so much already happening in the DC Universe’s first movie, I can’t help but feel that introducing Brainiac might be a bit too much, too soon. I believe DC needs some time to establish its unique identity before diving into such an intricate storyline.

In the future, we can expect multiple projects featuring Corenswet as Clark Kent, since James Gunn has confirmed he’s working on a Superman-like sequel. It’s likely that Superman will reappear in the DC Universe soon. Although I believe Brainiac may eventually join the DCU, Superman doesn’t necessarily require him for his storyline.
