The Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app will get a new expansion called “Mega Rising” on October 30th, and a free update will be released at the same time. The Pokémon Company also announced that the game has been downloaded over 150 million times.
The Pokemon TCG Pocket app is launching a new series called Mega Rising, which introduces Mega-Evolved Pokemon to the game. Players can grow their card collections and unlock the power of Mega Evolution Pokemon ex by opening three special booster packs: Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria.
The free update introduce the following features:
- New Share Feature – Players can give and receive one ♦–♦♦♦♦ rarity card to friends per day, including cards from the latest expansion.
- Expanded Range of Tradable Cards – Players will soon be able to trade cards from the latest expansions and booster packs. In addition to ♦–♦♦♦♦ and ★ rarity cards, ★★ and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards will be eligible for trading.
- Improved Wonder Pick Feature – Unobtained cards from the latest expansion will appear more often in the wonder pick feature. In addition, the number of cards players currently own will be displayed on each card in Wonder Pick.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is available now for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play.
