The beat ’em up game Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on November 21st. Publisher Selecta Play and developer Relevo also announced that a demo is available now for PC.
The release date trailer includes the game’s main theme song, created by Cody Carpenter – the son of renowned director and horror legend John Carpenter.

Okay, so I’m super excited about Terrifier: The ARTcade Game! It’s a retro-style beat ’em up – think classic games from the 80s and 90s – but with all the over-the-top gore and dark humor you’d expect from Terrifier. It looks incredibly fun and action-packed, and I can’t wait to dive in!
Retro-Inspired Carnage
Okay, so in this game, I get to be Art the Clown from the Terrifier movies! It’s seriously messed up, but awesome – I basically get to run around and cause total chaos in all these different locations. The cool part is each level is set up like a movie set where they’re making a movie about Art, but I’m there to ruin everything and make my own kind of ‘art,’ if you catch my drift!
