Nightdive Studios is releasing updated versions of both Turok 2: Seeds of Evil and a fully remastered System Shock on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 later this year. The Switch 2 version of System Shock will be available as a physical game cartridge, not just a download code.
The System Shock remake, originally launched on PC in 2023 and on PlayStation and Xbox last year, updates the beloved action RPG with modern graphics, sound, and music. While both Switch versions include features like motion aiming, the new Switch 2 offers even more, including mouse support, smooth 1080p/60 FPS performance, and improvements players have been asking for.
Unlike the System Shock remake, this game stays truer to the original while also offering features like co-op play and PC modding. For a more in-depth look, check out our full review.
