Elon Musk’s fraught relationship with President Donald Trump has taken another turn.

After the Tesla CEO announced his hope to start the America party, Trump blasted the suggestion.

It’s disheartening to see Elon Musk seemingly lose control over the past five weeks, resembling more of a derailed train rather than a visionary leader. He recently expressed interest in founding a third political party, but history shows such attempts have never prospered in the U.S., as it appears our system is not accommodating for them.

Since Elon Musk left his position as head of the Department of Government Efficiency in May, his connection with Trump has grown more strained. Not long after, Trump expressed to journalists that while they had a strong bond, he was uncertain if it would remain so.

In the Oval Office on June 5, as reported by NBC News, he expressed his deep dissatisfaction with Elon. He mentioned that he had provided Elon with significant assistance.

In due time, Musk claimed that he played a substantial part in the results of the 2024 presidential election, where Trump and JD Vance triumphed over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and her vice-presidential pick Tim Walz.

He asserted on X that if I weren’t present, Trump would have failed to win the election. This would have resulted in Democrats controlling the House, and a narrow 51-49 advantage for Republicans in the Senate.

In a subsequent post, he added, “Such ingratitude.”

Trump, on the other hand, has a different POV.

Elon was struggling with our partnership, Trump posted on Truth Social. “I told him to depart, I rescinded his electric vehicle mandate which made people purchase electric cars against their will (something he knew I would do for months), and he reacted wildly!

Soon after, Musk soon took back his critical commentary.

On June 11th, I acknowledge that certain posts I shared regarding President @realDonaldTrump crossed the line and were excessive.

Back in February 2024, Alyssa stated on Instagram: “I didn’t possess the ability to terminate anyone’s employment,” and furthermore, she expressed that the recounting of such events at a later date by anyone could be considered a reinterpretation of history.

The following day, Shannen asserted during a panel discussion at MegaCon Orlando, “I am not witnessing any distortion of historical facts as I understand them.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

In September 2023, while engaging in a game called “Stir the Pot” on TopMob News with her daughter Kelly Osbourne, Sharon expressed that the former cast member of “That ’70s Show” was the most impolite celebrity she had ever encountered. She labeled him as a “very rude boy” not once but four times and referred to him as a “mischievous little thing.

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

5 years ago, Sharon expressed to Larry King that when Ashton was a guest on The Talk in 2014, he displayed an “attitude” following her mistake of calling him by the wrong name.

During a TikTok challenge in 2022, JoJo Siwa labeled Candace Cameron Bure as the “most unfriendly” celebrity. She shared that she felt hurt when Bure declined to take a photo with her on a red carpet. In time, the two reconciled their differences. Subsequently, Candace was posed a question about whether the Great American Family network, where she holds the position of chief creative officer, might portray same-sex couples as main characters in holiday films.
