Lewis Capaldi has shared what the future holds for him following his return to the music industry.
On June 27th, after a break of two years, the Scottish artist made his comeback to the limelight by releasing a fresh track titled “Survive” unexpectedly. Later that day, he performed an unanticipated set on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury.
In that particular instance, Capaldi found himself right back where he started, as he had a break from music following his previous gig on this very stage, which was all the way back in 2023.
As a die-hard movie fan, I can’t contain my excitement! He’s back on set, taking the world by storm again. Following his heartfelt return, I caught him on Good Morning America on a Monday morning. He graced us with a sneak peek of his music, which he’ll be sharing internationally as part of their Summer Concert Series. Can’t wait to see more!
As a passionate cinema-goer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the next musical venture from Lewis Capaldi, who has captivated audiences with hits like “Someone You Loved,” “Before You Go,” and his latest single “Survive.” Intriguingly, he recently hinted at more music to come that fans can eagerly await.

He mentioned that he wasn’t sure about the release of an album. However, he hinted that they might be planning to unveil something soon, despite his uncertainty about disclosing details. After all, what’s a little secret amongst friends?
“I’m doing an EP at some point this year, and then an album may follow maybe next year.”
Additionally, he mentioned that another song will be released this summer, and expressed his intention to stay put for a while longer, stating he intends to continue releasing songs until the end of his days, with more to come after that.
Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the news, as “Survive” has swiftly risen to the peak positions in the UK charts, securing Capaldi his sixth UK number one hit single, less than a week after its sudden release.
Someone You Loved remains the most streamed song of all time in the UK.
After making his comeback to the music scene, Capaldi has already revealed a series of UK concert dates starting from 7th September at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena.
Spreading out to Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and Nottingham, as well as a couple of performances at London’s O2 Arena, his tour will conclude in Dublin on the 29th of September.
