GTA 6 Trailer 3 rumours explained: When could it happen?

With so much excitement surrounding it, it’s no surprise everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of the third trailer for GTA 6.

The first two trailers, released over a year apart, have together earned over 400 million views on YouTube – a truly incredible number.

With the release date less than a year away, many people are expecting a third trailer to be released very soon.

But how true are these rumours? Here’s what you need to know about GTA 6 Trailer 3

GTA 6 Trailer 3 rumours explained: When could it happen?

Fans on social media have spotted hints that a third trailer for GTA 6 might be coming out soon.

The first of these is that the Rockstar website has recently received a large makeover.

This update doesn’t introduce new facts, but it provides a better understanding of the characters Lucia and Jason, lets you further investigate the location of Leonida, and includes a fresh logo with palm trees incorporated into the Roman numeral ‘VI’.

Another reason fans are expecting a trailer soon is that Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, is holding its next earnings call on November 6th.

People have noticed a pattern: Take-Two often reveals big news about their games just before they announce their financial results. For instance, the second trailer for GTA 6 came out ten days before their earnings call in May.

Considering earnings are coming up so soon, we suspect the trailer might not be released this week.

Naturally, all of this is purely speculation, and should be taken with a tremendous pinch of salt.

When could GTA 6 Trailer 3 release?

According to recent speculation, the third trailer for GTA 6 might be released on November 5th or 6th, 2025, coinciding with Take-Two Interactive’s earnings report.

Considering how close it is to the earnings report, we don’t believe Rockstar would make such a big announcement right now.

We predict the third GTA 6 trailer will likely appear at The Game Awards 2025, or possibly as a standalone announcement near the end of the year.

It’s important to remember that this is just guesswork and shouldn’t be interpreted as a prediction of when the trailer might actually be released – or even if it will be released at all.
