Building a Library Quest Guide

In ARC Raiders, the ‘Building A Library’ quest sends you to the Library within the Buried City. You’ll receive this quest from Apollo. To finish it, you must complete all objectives within a single attempt.

  • Find 1 romance book
  • Find 1 detective book
  • Find 1 adventure book
  • Deliver 3 books to Apollo

Recommended Setup

We suggest getting ready before starting the “Building A Library” quest. This quest is different from others in ARC Raiders because you’ll need to successfully extract with all three items you collect.

Okay, so here’s a tip for fellow gamers: if you’ve got the Looting Mk. 2 augment, definitely use it! It lets you have two Safe Pockets, which is awesome for holding onto Books. Seriously, it means even if you get knocked down, you won’t lose all your Library Books – you’ll still keep at least two of them safe. It’s a lifesaver!

Next time you look for the last Library Books, you’ll only need to find one or two. Putting them in your Safe Pocket will almost certainly finish the quest.

Objective 1: Locate The Library

Once you’ve gotten ready, head to the Library. It’s pretty easy to locate on the Buried City map in ARC Raiders.

You don’t need to worry about finding a key or a hidden entrance. Just go inside to finish what you need to do.

The “Digging Up Dirt” quest now requires entering through a specific location, and it’s become harder to do so after the recent update from the ARC developers.

Objective 2: Find Romance Book

Once you’re inside, your first task is to locate the three books. It’s easiest to start with the romance novel, as you’ll find it on the ground floor.

Just stay on the right side of the library, and you should be able to find it near the bookshelves.

Objective 3: Find Detective Book

Now, head up the stairs to the first floor. Watch out for ARC Fireball enemies – they might ambush you around the corners!

Once you’ve dealt with them, follow the right-hand wall. You’ll see a shelf you can search between two bookcases, and the detective book is inside.

Objective 4: Find Adventure Book

To find the last book, keep going straight on the first floor of the Library. Stay to the left, and look behind the overturned bookshelves – you’ll find the final shelf there.

It’s tucked away in the corner, so it’s easy to overlook if you’re not paying attention. Just look around on the shelves, and you’ll discover the adventure book.

Keep your books in your Safe Pockets so they don’t get lost if you’re attacked by enemies.

Objective 5: Deliver 3 Books

After you collect all the books, you’ll need to extract them so you can deliver them to Apollo. If you want to extract right away to complete the quest, there’s a convenient extraction point near the Library that’s easy to reach.

Just go straight there to get what you need, and you can finish the ‘Building A Library’ quest immediately!
