Tori Spelling is asking Dean McDermott for financial support.
Now that the couple is finalizing their divorce, which began in 2023, the host of the MisSpelling podcast is asking the Slasher actor to provide both child and spousal support after the divorce is officially finalized.
According to a court filing from November 3rd, Tori Spelling is asking the court to order both child and spousal support after she and her husband finalize their divorce. Her lawyer also requested that the judge cover her legal fees. TopMob News obtained a copy of the filing.
It’s unclear what McDermott’s response was to Spelling’s requests for money, but this happened after McDermott had already detailed his own family’s finances in a legal document. According to a filing from September 5th, which TopMob News previously reviewed, Spelling’s monthly income varies from $3,000 to $75,000, depending on the work he does.
The 58-year-old man said he earns about $3,800 each month working as an alcohol and drug counselor at the Conscious Community & Vanity Recovery center.
McDermott revealed his girlfriend, Lily Calo, who he lives with, makes about $600 a month, but doesn’t help with bills. He also stated he’s deeply in debt, with a $200,000 loan from City National Bank and over $12,000 in credit card debt.

In other parts of his court documents, Dean McDermott stated that Tori Spelling has custody of their five children – Liam (18), Stella (17), Hattie and Finn (both 13), and Beau (8) – approximately 90% of the time. He sees his youngest son on the first, third, and fifth weekends of each month. In a recent filing on November 3rd, Tori also requested that child custody and visitation be formally decided in their divorce.
Even though they’ve been through legal issues, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have continued to co-parent their children, including their 25-year-old son Jack (who McDermott shares with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace), in a friendly way. Last year, McDermott even said that Spelling and his current wife, Lisa Ann Walter Calo, have a great relationship.
He shared with Page Six last March that he feels fortunate everyone is working together to support their children, calling it a wonderful situation.
