McFarlane Toys is rereleasing a special DC Multiverse 2-pack featuring a 7-inch Batman Who Laughs in Knight Armor and a larger-scale Merciless figure from Earth-12. These figures are based on the popular Dark Nights: Metal and Dark Nights: Death Metal comic book storylines. The set costs $79.99, the same price as when it was first released as a Walmart exclusive in July. Now, you can also buy it on Amazon starting today, with deliveries expected around December 10th. If you don’t want to wait, it’s currently shipping directly from Walmart.
We’ve encountered The Batman Who Laughs and The Merciless in DC’s multiverse before, but these new versions have some changes. The Merciless, a terrifying combination of Batman and the war god Ares, features a red color scheme inspired by artist Riccardo Federici’s original design. This figure also includes a first-ever unmasked head sculpt, revealing Bruce Wayne’s face beneath the helmet.

As a collector and critic, I have to say this Batman Who Laughs figure is a standout. They’ve really upped the detail with newly sculpted armor pieces on the torso, and the paint job is phenomenal. It really makes the armor pop. Honestly, in my opinion, this is one of the best-looking versions of this character the company has ever released – a truly impressive piece.
The set includes extra accessories like the God Killer sword, an alternate unmasked head for Merciless, and a large display base. It also features collectible art cards for both figures.
