On November 13th, ARC Raiders will receive a significant update called North Line, alongside price reductions for cosmetic items. This update introduces the Stella Montis map, but players will need to take part in the “Breaking New Ground” community event to unlock it.
Okay, so after I finished my first five expeditions, I unlocked the ability to start handing in resources like Metal, Rubber, Plastic, Chemicals, and Fabric. Basically, doing that gives me Merits, which are needed to move on to the next part of the game – Phase 2, called “Staking Our Claim.” It sounds like Merits are the key to progressing further!
A new set of rewards and challenges is now available until December. Beyond this, exploring Stella Montis offers valuable discoveries like rare resources, unique items, and blueprints for forgotten technology. You’ll also learn more about humanity’s past struggles with space exploration.
Could this have contributed to the ARC’s recent attacks on Earth? It seems unlikely, but it’s hard not to question if the name ‘Stella Montis,’ meaning ‘Star of the Mountain’ in Latin, has some connection.
Okay, so the update dropped and it’s packed with some seriously cool stuff! I’m hyped about the new Legendary weapon, and there are two new grenades and three new mine types to mess around with – but we’re gonna have to earn them, apparently. There’s this new ARC enemy called The Shredder, and it sounds terrifying up close. And get this – there’s a boss even bigger than the Queen! It’s called the Matriarch, but you can only fight it if something specific is happening on the map. Sounds like a fun challenge!
We’ll share full details about the North Line update as soon as the patch notes are released. You can find the complete ARC Raiders roadmap—including plans for a big update in December—here.
