So, I just heard Mark Gatiss mention that the Doctor Who story he wrote back when David Tennant was the Doctor – the Tenth Doctor, obviously – might actually see the light of day! Apparently, it was never filmed, but he’s hinting it could still be released somehow. As a huge fan, I’m really hoping that happens – I’d love to see what he came up with!

This documentary about ‘The Trial of a Time Lord’ is really interesting, largely because it explores so many possibilities and disagreements.

He added: “It’s a strange thing to say, but the darkest hour for the show would definitely make a very interesting drama, wouldn’t it? I mean, the personal conflicts, the professional conflicts, the resignations… that’s the one, isn’t it?

Even in difficult times, there’s always hope for a brighter future.

“There’s something very moving about [Tales of the TARDIS] rounding all that off.”
