Silent Hill: Townfall Leak Hints at Impending Release Date

Recent information suggests that Silent Hill: Townfall might be released sooner than expected. Silent Hill f, the newest game in the Silent Hill series, was released to positive reviews just last September. However, Konami was also working on Silent Hill: Townfall at the same time. While updates on Townfall have been scarce since it was announced in 2022, it now appears the game could launch within the next few months.

A listing for the game Silent Hill: Townfall recently appeared on the Liverpool Mexico website. What caught people’s attention was a listed release date of March 26, 2026. However, the page was quickly taken down. It’s unclear if this date was correct, but it wouldn’t be the first time a retailer outside the US accidentally revealed a game’s release date early.

The release date for Silent Hill Townfall was accidentally revealed on the Mexican e-shop as March 26, 2026, but has since been removed. Because the date is so precise, it’s unlikely to be a temporary placeholder, suggesting Konami may announce official news, possibly a new ‘Transmission’ broadcast, very soon.

The release date for Silent Hill: Townfall listed on the page was probably incorrect, as a March 2026 launch doesn’t seem realistic. Unless Konami starts sharing more details about Townfall soon, it would be unusual for them to release a new Silent Hill game so quickly after years of silence. This is even more confusing considering another new Silent Hill game is already scheduled to come out within about six months.

Even though we should be cautious, the recent Silent Hill: Townfall leak is worth considering. Liverpool is a real store in Mexico, and they may have access to information before it’s publicly announced. The leaked release date of March 26th – a Thursday – is also interesting, as many video games are released on that day. So, while we shouldn’t believe it completely, the leak could be genuine.

Currently, very little is known about Silent Hill: Townfall, including which gaming systems it will be available on. What we do know is that Annapurna Interactive will publish the game in partnership with Konami, marking a unique collaboration for the newest installment in the beloved Silent Hill survival-horror series.
