May the force be with Millie Bobby Brown at the tattoo parlor.
The actress from Stranger Things already has several tattoos, but she revealed she’s considering adding another one – her favorite movie quote.
Millie recently shared with Collider that her favorite movie moment is the iconic ‘I love you,’ ‘I know’ exchange from The Empire Strikes Back, part of the Star Wars saga. She simply said, ‘I just love that.’
She loves the back-and-forth dialogue between Han Solo and Princess Leia in The Empire Strikes Back so much that she often quotes it unexpectedly to her husband, Jake Bongiovi.
I told Jake about something the other day, and he said he loved me. I just replied, ‘I know.’ Then he jokingly asked if I was Han Solo, and I said, ‘Yeah,’ agreeing with the comparison.
Millie added, “I just love that. I love that line. It’s so cute.”
Getting this new tattoo wouldn’t be the first time she’s gotten ink to represent her relationship with Jake, who is the father of their daughter. Earlier this year, the actress, known for her role in Enola Holmes, revealed she’d gotten Jake’s initials tattooed on her ankle.
Millie paid tribute to both her relationship with Jake and her famous Stranger Things role as Eleven by getting a tattoo of the number 11 on her wrist – a nod to her character that has also playfully helped her avoid trouble in the past.
She mentioned in a March 2024 interview with Wired that she’d only been pulled over by the police twice, and both times, simply showing them her tattoo was enough for them to let her go.
She admitted she wouldn’t advise doing that, explaining she was actually scared the entire time. Luckily, she didn’t receive a ticket, which she was very happy about.

It’s just… seeing her talk about it gets me. Like, yeah, being famous has its amazing parts, but she gets how much it sucks too. She’s explained how everyone’s always looking at her, judging her, because she grew up with cameras around. It’s awful! And she’s so right – the people who try to tear down young women like her just need to seriously rethink their lives. It breaks my heart to see her deal with that, honestly.
She shared on Instagram in March that she began her career at age 10. She feels frustrated that, despite growing up in the public eye, some people still see her as the child she once was.
She explained that people seem to expect her to look exactly as she did when she first appeared on Stranger Things, and she feels like she’s being criticized for changing her appearance over time.
Millie’s words really hit me. She ended with a simple plea – let’s all strive to do better. And it’s not just about her, it’s about every girl who deserves a childhood free from feeling unsafe or judged just for being themselves. It’s a message I truly believe in and want to support.
