I’m so excited! Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan are returning with a brand new series on Sky Max! I’ve heard they’re tackling all sorts of crazy challenges in different parts of the world, and I finally know when it’s going to air – it’s going to be brilliant!
The new season of Rob & Romesh Vs, season 8, starts on Tuesday, December 9th at 9pm. You can watch it on Sky Max and NOW.
The comedy pair is traveling to Mumbai with a big goal: to make it in Bollywood, one of the world’s largest film industries. They’ll be getting support from popular actors Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher as they try to land roles in a Bollywood film.
Throughout the new season, the characters will receive help from some well-known faces, including Martin Freeman, Jessie Buckley, Raekwon from the Wu-Tang Clan, and Eddie the Eagle.
Raekwon is a hip-hop artist Ranganathan greatly admires, and they meet in New York City. There, Ranganathan will try to overcome his biggest fear: performing in a freestyle rap battle with New York artists.
Plus, Beckett and Ranganathan are heading deep into the Sumatran jungle on a mission: to capture a stunning photograph for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, one of the most respected contests in the world.
I’m so excited to see what happens! Back in London, the two of them are getting ready to perform Romeo & Juliet at the Globe, and they’re incredibly lucky to be working with the Globe’s Artistic Director, Michelle Terry, and a truly talented cast, including Buckley and Freeman. It’s a huge challenge, taking on one of Shakespeare’s most iconic plays, and I’m really eager to see if they can make it work – I know they’re giving it their all!
I’m really excited for the next installment of the show! It’s a two-part special wrapping up their travels, and this time they’re taking on the challenge of training with Team GB as they prepare for the Winter Olympics in 2026. It should be hilarious to watch!
Inspired by Olympians Eddie the Eagle and Eve Muirhead, and alongside future stars Mia Brookes and Team Mouat, the duo will travel the globe trying out a variety of winter sports – from bobsled and biathlon to skiing and curling. Their adventures will take them to stunning locations like St. Moritz, Switzerland, and the World Curling Championships in Fredericton, Canada.
