I just heard about this incredible film, A Mother’s Confession. It’s a really gripping story about a mom whose son is caught in gang violence and ends up in a coma. It’s not just a revenge thriller, though. It’s a powerful look at how far a mother will go, and it really makes you question things like faith and what’s right and wrong when someone you love is hurt. It’s definitely one that will stay with you.

As a total cinephile, I’ve spent way too many nights lost in reality TV, admittedly. I’ve followed The Bachelor through a lot of its seasons – specifically 2 through 4, 6 through 13, and then seasons 20 to 22. I’ve also watched quite a bit of The Bachelorette, enjoying seasons 2 through 7, and then 14 through 16. But it’s not all fluff; I’m a huge fan of classic and art house films too. I absolutely adore The 400 Blows and Rashomon, and Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris from 1972 is a masterpiece I revisit often.
