Fantastic Four Star Julian McMahon’s Cause of Death Confirmed

Following the sad news last week about Julian McMahon’s passing at 56 after a personal struggle with cancer, it has now been disclosed how he died. As reported by the Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office in Florida, obtained first by People, McMahon succumbed to lung metastasis due to head and neck metastatic cancer. The report also states that his death was a natural one, and his remains were subsequently cremated.

Kelly Paniagua, Julian McMahon’s wife, announced his passing on July 2nd in a statement, saying, “I would like to inform everyone openly that my cherished husband, Julian McMahon, passed away peacefully this week after fighting courageously against cancer.” She further mentioned that McMahon always wanted to spread happiness through his work and requested time and privacy as she and her family mourned his loss.

McMahon Remembered by His Fantastic Four Co-Stars

Ever since I heard about McMahon’s passing, it seems like the whole cinematic world is mourning together – fans and colleagues alike who worked alongside him in numerous productions. Among his many iconic roles, I can’t forget the time he breathed life into Marvel villain Victor von Doom aka Doctor Doom on the big screen back in 2005, in both Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. My co-star Ioan Gruffudd, who portrayed Reed Richards opposite McMahon, shared heartfelt memories and condolences for his family on Instagram. He reminisced that every moment spent with McMahon was truly a joy.

Michael Chiklis, known for his role as Ben Grimm (a.k.a The Thing) in the Fantastic Four movies, also used X to honor the actor by posting a picture of himself, McMahon, and fellow cast member Jessica Alba, all sporting big smiles at a press event.

I’m deeply saddened by the news that my dear friend Julian has passed away. Life seems so delicate and valuable now. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his loved ones. Rest in peace, Jules.

McMahon’s Charmed Co-Star Urges Fans to “Stop” Using AI in Their Tributes to Him

Numerous cast members from the TV series Charmed expressed their thoughts on social media. In this show, McMahon portrayed Cole Turner, who was the romantic interest of Alyssa Milano’s character, Phoebe Halliwell. The union between Halliwell and Turner began in the third season of Charmed, with them eventually getting married within the series. However, McMahon’s character was later transformed into Belthazor, a half-demon, which predictably led to complications in their relationship. Interestingly, Milano considered McMahon as a cherished friend, aptly referring to him as “magical.

Beyond her emotional, heartwarming Instagram post dedicated to McMahon, Milano also kindly asked followers to abstain from incorporating AI-created images when paying tribute to him instead.

Hey, Charmed enthusiasts! I adore and value you immensely, but could we all refrain from attributing emotions to Julian McMahon’s passing using AI? It’s unnecessary when there are genuine moments throughout his nearly 35 years in the public eye that can be shared instead. Let’s also remember to respect Julian’s family and friends during this challenging period.

McMahon leaves behind his spouse and his 25-year-old daughter, Madison, who is from his past marriage with Brooke Burns.
