Jason Kelce Details Kylie Kelce’s “Devastating” Past Pregnancy Loss

Jason Kelce is detailing a difficult chapter for his family. 

Former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce recently shared a touching story about a difficult time with his wife, Kylie Kelce. Before they welcomed their four daughters – Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 7 months – Kylie experienced a heartbreaking pregnancy loss in 2018.

Jason recalled being completely heartbroken at the March of Dimes 43rd Sports Luncheon in New York on December 3rd. He described leaving practice and meetings to cope with overwhelming sadness and emotion in his truck.

However, the tragedy also helped him realize that he wasn’t alone in the experience.

In times like these, you truly appreciate the power of sports and the strength of teams,” the NFL player shared. “So many people – coaches, teammates, and friends within the Eagles organization – reached out, and it really highlighted how common miscarriages are. It’s often a topic people don’t talk about, but it happens a lot.

Jason, whose brother is Travis Kelce, says the support from their community is what helped the couple cope with their loss.

He explained that realizing they weren’t the only ones facing that challenge was incredibly helpful during a difficult time.

Kylie has also noticed a change in her husband since he became a father. 

She shared that building a family with him has been a wonderful experience. She described him as the constant, loving center of their home. While others admire his drive and work ethic, she’s fortunate enough to witness his kindness and affection every day.

Oh my gosh, Jason always says that being part of a team – whether it’s his football team where he played for thirteen seasons, or our family – means giving it absolutely everything you have. Since then, Jason’s life has changed a lot – and for the better. He and Kylie are now parents to four children, and he playfully admits that his daughters have completely transformed his world.

“There’s chaos in our house,” he quipped. “I don’t know who’s learning more—me or them right now.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to hear about growing families! Back in October 2019, Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, became parents to a beautiful baby girl named Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce. It was such a special time for them, and I know they’ve been loving every minute of parenthood!

Their second daughter Elliotte Ray Kelce joined the family two years later.

A year after Elliotte was born, Kylie announced she was expecting another baby, sharing a cute set of photos to reveal the news.

The couple had their third child in February 2023, just a couple of weeks after Jason played against his brother, Travis Kelce, in the 2023 Super Bowl.

In May 2023, Jason posted a photo on Instagram of his oldest daughters with a large trophy, expressing his disbelief and excitement: “I never imagined I’d be holding the Larry O’Brien trophy, especially not in my own home!”

“Unbelievable honor to see it in person,” he continued. “The size is incredible, looks so small when NBA players are holding it, but it’s actually massive!! The girls were very interested in it.”

In August 2023, a family of five enjoyed some fun activities, as Kylie shared on Instagram, playfully mentioning they were there for Rita’s Italian Ice and obstacle courses with their dad after practice.

Jason and Kylie celebrated Wyatt’s fourth birthday in October 2023 with a special party held at the Philadelphia Eagles’ stadium. Kylie shared on Instagram that the celebration coincided with the Eagles achieving a 4-0 record at the start of the season.

In June 2024, Kylie posted a photo on Instagram of her sons, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, with the caption, “Parents get it – two out of three isn’t bad!”
