Jump Festa this month is set to share exciting news about several popular anime series in Japan. Big updates are planned for franchises like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia, among others. While Dragon Ball won’t be at Jump Festa, fans won’t have to wait long, as a major event is scheduled for early 2026. Before that, Shueisha will be showcasing Goku and Gohan battling in their strongest forms, sparking debate about who would win.
Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine combines manga and video game content, often showcasing the most popular titles from both worlds. Given the massive success of the Dragon Ball franchise in both areas, it’s no surprise that characters from the series frequently appear on the cover. This month’s issue features new artwork from Dragon Ball Super artist Toyotaro, putting Ultra Instinct Goku and Beast Gohan together to promote the Dragon Ball Genki Dama Festival happening in January. While Goku and Gohan sometimes clash due to Goku’s passion for fighting, they share a strong bond. You can see the new V-Jump cover below.

Who Wins Between Goku And Gohan?
Although we haven’t seen Ultra Instinct Goku and Beast Gohan fight in the anime yet, the manga showed a brief clash between them after the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. After defeating Cell Max, both Goku and Vegeta were eager to test their strength against Gohan’s new Beast form. The manga didn’t definitively reveal who was stronger, but it did depict an intense battle that even surprised Beerus and Whis. Fans are hoping the upcoming Genki Dama Festival will offer some clues about the anime’s future, and possibly tease a showdown between father and son.
The Dragon Ball Super anime hasn’t adapted a lot of content from the manga yet, particularly the Moro and Granolah Arcs. These storylines offer enough material for several more years of episodes, filled with plenty of action. Fans are also eager for the Dragon Ball Super manga to return, as it’s been on hold since the passing of Akira Toriyama. While there’s a lot of excitement for next month’s Genki Dama Festival, we at egmr.ru will continue to provide updates on everything related to Dragon Ball.
