If you loved playing Star Wars Episode 1: Racer on the original PlayStation, you’ll be excited to hear about Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a brand-new racing game coming to PlayStation 5 next year. Check out the announcement trailer above!
The latest installment lets you race across well-known planets like Jakku and Ando Prime using landspeeders and bikes. And with a quick glimpse of Sebulba at the trailer’s end, it looks like podracing will be making a return!
Fuse Games, a new studio created by former developers from Criterion, is making the game. Lucasfilm Games executive Douglas Reilly explained that the team pitched the idea, and Lucasfilm immediately agreed – it was an easy decision. He stated, “There’s no other studio that could have brought Star Wars racing back to fans better than this one.”
