To conquer the Los Angeles stage in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4, you need to initiate an Earthquake event. Not only is this level objective significant in its own right, as it unveils previously hidden areas, but it’s also crucial for tackling other challenges within the level. In essence, mastering the Earthquake is a necessity if you aim to complete all objectives here. Let’s guide you through the steps to trigger that earthquake!
How to Start the Earthquake in Los Angeles | Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4

To complete this task, you’ll require grinding on 4 distinct red rails on the LA level. The initial one is located to your left immediately when you begin the level. Just leap towards it and execute any grind move throughout the entire length of the rail!

Performing it accurately will result in the “Easterntremor!” trick appearing in your combo sequence along with a unique pop-up, similar to the “Eastern Quake Rail” one shown in the screenshot above. This rule applies to all four rails, but they have different names based on their specific locations.
To ensure a smooth registration, it’s best to run the entire length of the rail along its surface before moving on. If you prefer, you can start grinding and then initiate another trick from the beginning of the grind. The key is to try to cover as much of the rail in one pass as possible. Let’s proceed to the next rail!

Once you disembark at the Eastern Quake Rail station, simply head right. You’ll notice a red railway nearby on the street; give it a try and skate along it!

After exiting the Southern Quake Rail, head right. You’ll notice a red rail that ascends next to the street ahead. Just like before, feel free to ride along it.

Finally, head to the library located at the top of the Northern Quake Rail line. Find the red rail spanning its entrance; this should be the final one to trigger the Earthquake scenario!
