Top 10 Best Anime Fights of 2025 Ranked

I saw a lot of great anime in 2025 – both new series and movies really pushed the medium forward. From supernatural adventures to fights with Saiyans and demon slayers, there were tons of incredible battles. Putting together a ‘top ten’ list wasn’t easy, but we at egmr.ru finally did it, ranking these fights based on how impactful they were. You’ll likely recognize some of these clashes, but we also included a few surprises!

10.) Solo Leveling: Jinwoo Vs. Beru

The biggest battle of Solo Leveling’s second season easily made our top ten list, but it was also a bit of a letdown. The fight between Jinwoo and the black ant king had been built up since the very beginning of the anime, and the Jeju Island setting played a significant role. The arrival of the ant king, Beru, was truly frightening, as he effortlessly defeated many hunters, showcasing his immense power. While the battle between Sung and this insect warrior was exciting, it felt rushed, and Jinwoo won seemingly without much effort. This Solo Leveling fight definitely deserves a place in the top ten, but we were hoping for a more impactful showdown.

9.) Dragon Ball Daima: Super Saiyan 4 Goku Vs. Gomah

The final battle in Dragon Ball Daima definitely deserves recognition. The fight between Son Goku and the Demon Lord Gomah was incredibly impactful, easily earning its place on this list. It mirrored a classic moment from Goku’s battle with Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z, showcasing his powerful Super Saiyan 4 transformation as he launched into the largest fight the Demon Realm has ever seen. Though Gomah wasn’t as intimidating as villains like Frieza or Cell, he served as a compelling antagonist and perfectly captured the atmosphere of Daima when it first aired earlier this year.

8.) Clevatess – Alicia Glenfall Vs. Drel

While often overshadowed by popular anime like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Demon Slayer, the intense series Clevatess is truly deserving of recognition. The first season introduces a grim world where Alicia is resurrected by the creature that killed her. Now bound to serve Clevatess, she battles the villainous Dorel in a captivating fight that doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Despite this, Clevatess easily earns its place on this list, proving that this dark anime is a hidden gem within the anime landscape.

7.) Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Doma Vs. Shinobu

The anime film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle became a massive success, earning hundreds of millions of dollars in theaters, largely thanks to its incredible action sequences. While choosing the best battles was tough because they were all so well-done, the fight between Shinobu and Doma ranks slightly lower. Despite Shinobu’s fierce determination and emotional quest for revenge for her sister, Doma’s dismissive behavior made the battle feel uneven. The fight’s unresolved ending also detracts from it somewhat. However, it remains a powerfully tragic scene and deserves recognition as one of the film’s highlights.

6.) One Piece: Zoro Vs. Rob Lucci

It’s no surprise that One Piece appears on this list, especially with 2025 promising to be a huge year for the Straw Hat Pirates. The fight between Zoro and Rob Lucci on Future Island was a standout moment. Toei Animation has significantly improved its animation quality lately, and this fight perfectly showcases that progress. The intensity and power of their battle were so high, it often felt reminiscent of a Dragon Ball fight – a huge compliment to the animators! While this battle was epic, it faced stiff competition from other incredible fights within One Piece.

5.) Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Zenitsu Vs. Kaigaku

The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle arc featured what many fans consider Zenitsu’s best moment yet. Despite usually being a coward, Zenitsu bravely faced off against his former friend, Kaigaku, who had become a demon. The fight was visually stunning, with incredible animation and fight choreography, but it was the emotional weight of the rivalry and the loss of their master that truly made the scene powerful. While some argue the battle felt a bit rushed compared to others, it clearly demonstrated how much Zenitsu has grown as a character throughout the series.

4.) One Piece – Luffy And Friends Vs. Saturn

Listing the battle between the World Government’s Elder and all the fighters on Egghead as a single fight feels a little unfair, but it’s hard to choose just one part of such a chaotic clash. Saturn’s arrival was a massive moment for One Piece, as many of the heroes had a personal vendetta against this powerful government official. Seeing the World Government’s dark actions embodied in Saturn, the fight against him was a standout, and gave Luffy a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the full extent of his Gear Fifth powers, solidifying One Piece’s return to prominence.

3.) One Piece: Luffy Vs. Kizaru

Although the battle against Saturn was massive and impactful for Future Island, the fight between Luffy and Kizaru was undoubtedly the best battle of 2025. After years of being outmaneuvered by Kizaru, Luffy, with his powerful Gear Fifth transformation, finally got his chance to fight back. Kizaru’s light-based abilities make him a thrilling and dynamic villain, and combined with Luffy’s new strength, their multi-episode clash was a spectacular highlight. It easily earned a spot among the top three anime battles of the year.

2.) Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Tanjiro And Giyu Vs. Akaza

Many fans expected this fight to be number one, and it’s easy to see why. The rematch between Tanjiro and Akaza was highly anticipated ever since Akaza killed Rengoku in Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. With help from Giyu, Tanjiro finally gets his chance to fight Akaza, and the battle delivers exactly what viewers hoped for, making it a highlight of Ufotable’s animation. Ultimately, though, only one anime fight could take the top spot, and most fans probably guessed which one it would be.

1.) Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc – Denji Vs. Reze

Studio MAPPA truly shines with Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc, delivering a fantastic adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s thrilling story. The movie centers on a complicated love triangle between Denji, Reze, and Makima, and reveals Reze’s shocking identity as the Bomb Devil. This leads to an absolutely massive fight – arguably the best anime fight of 2025 – filled with incredible, chaotic moments. The battle is huge in scale, destroying city blocks and impacting countless people, but it all feels justified within the story. Chainsaw Man The Movie isn’t just home to the best fight of the year; it’s easily the best anime film of 2025, and it’s hard to imagine anyone disagreeing.
