First Look at 2026’s R-Rated Remake of Banned Horror Confirms Release Date

I remember when Faces of Death came out in 1978 – it was totally infamous! Everyone talked about how it supposedly showed real deaths and gruesome injuries, not just movie magic. It got banned in a ton of countries (they even advertised that fact!), but that just made people want to see it even more. It was a huge hit, making over $35 million with what I heard was a tiny $67,000 budget. Now, after almost five years of hearing rumors, they’ve finally given us a first look at the reboot and announced when it’s coming out. I’m honestly a little scared and a lot curious!

Microsoft vows to make “behind-the-scenes platform changes” as it begins testing next phase of Windows 11

As a researcher working with these builds, I’m excited to share that the Dev Channel is now receiving builds from the 26300 series. These builds include many of the same features and improvements you’ll see in the 26220 series currently rolling out to the Beta Channel. However, we’re also implementing some important platform updates with each new build. Because of these underlying changes, you might encounter different known issues compared to what’s reported in the Beta Channel.

I’ve Never Uninstalled a Game So Fast Before

I spent a good amount of time playing Highguard and got a solid understanding of its mechanics. However, I was surprised by how quickly I uninstalled it. Right from the start, it was obvious the game wasn’t still developing – it felt like a promising idea that ultimately fell flat, becoming frustrating and draining to play.

One of the Biggest Sci-Fi Disappointments of the ‘90s Just Arrived to Paramount+ Ahead of Sequel

The classic sci-fi horror film Event Horizon became available on Paramount+ on January 1st, building anticipation for the upcoming comic book sequel, Event Horizon: Inferno, planned for April 2026. Directed by Paul Anderson and set in 2047, the movie follows a crew of astronauts—including Laurence Fishburne, Sam Neill, Kathleen Quinlan, and Joely Richardson—who are sent to investigate a spaceship that mysteriously reappeared after vanishing seven years prior. While now considered a cult favorite, Event Horizon wasn’t initially successful. It flopped at the box office, earning only $42 million despite a $60 million budget, and received largely negative reviews, with a 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Fallout 4 has quietly dropped several free DLCs with ties to New Vegas and the TV show — here’s everything new in Bethesda’s RPG you can play now

Fallout 4 has a selection of player-created mods, called Creations, which are approved and sold by the game’s developer. While most of these mods cost money, Bethesda recently released four free ones for all platforms – Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. Unfortunately, these weren’t widely advertised, which is a shame because they offer a significant amount of new content and gameplay.

‘Faces of Death’ Remake Debuts First Teaser Trailer, Release Date

Okay, so I’m really excited about the new Faces of Death remake! It was shot back in 2023, and it’s been a long wait, but we finally have a release date: April 10th. The cast is awesome – Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler, Josie Totah, and even Charli XCX are all in it. It’s directed by Daniel Goldhaber, who I really liked from his movie How to Blow Up a Pipeline. He actually co-wrote this one with Isa Mazzei, and those two also worked together on the really cool cyber thriller Cam a few years back. I’ve been following this project for a while, and I can’t wait to finally see it!
