Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Review – Delightful

Let’s talk about Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. This game has a very focused idea of what it wants to be, and it achieves that goal remarkably well. That core vision also explains why the game is designed the way it is.

Rayman Legends Retold Screenshots Leak, Allegedly Includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition for Free

So, the page for this game got taken down, but thankfully Insider Gaming saved it on the Wayback Machine! Honestly, it’s a big change visually from what I was expecting. Instead of that classic, beautiful UbiArt style, it’s going for something more 2.5D, and even has some full 3D bits. I was a little worried about them changing the art style, but from what I’ve seen, it actually looks pretty good!

9 Years Later, a Controversial HBO Series Surges on Streaming Charts To Become a Top 5 U.S. Hit

Let’s talk about Girls, the HBO series created by Lena Dunham that really resonated with millennials during its original run. Though the show and its creator faced plenty of criticism, that controversy is probably what’s bringing it back into conversation now. Girls follows a young writer and her three friends in New York City as they navigate life after college. They’re all trying to figure out their careers, relationships, and identities, and their journey is full of drama and messy situations.

New Live-Action Manga Adaptation to be The “First of Many”

Originally created by Satoru Hiura and first published in 2004, Hotaru’s Way gained a dedicated following and continued with sequels and spin-offs until 2009. Surprisingly, despite its popularity, the series never received an animated adaptation. Instead, it launched directly into live-action with a television series in 2007, followed by a sequel series in 2010 and a film in 2012. Now, according to Deadline, Unapologetic Projects is bringing Hotaru’s Way to North America with a brand new live-action television series. Producers on the project include Paige Hooper, Motoko Kimura, and Kate Kugler, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

5 Years Ago, 2 Underrated Releases Walked so DC’s Absolute Line Could Run

DC’s recent publishing push, called All-In, follows directly from the previous initiative, Dawn of DC, which ended with the Absolute Power storyline. This came after Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, a surprisingly good event that brought back the classic idea of a vast, infinite multiverse – though it didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Dark Crisis was built upon two earlier miniseries, Infinite Frontier and Justice League Incarnate, which were essential for creating the foundation of what would become the Absolute Universe. While fans were initially critical of these miniseries, they’re actually quite strong and play a crucial role in the overall story.
