It’s not always immediately obvious, but on repeat viewings, you start to notice just how skillfully these episodes are constructed. It’s a testament to the writers’ craft, really.
As a gamer, I always loved playing with friends on the same screen! Whether it’s called ‘split-screen’ or ‘shared-screen,’ it’s just awesome to have everyone together on one system. I remember epic battles in beat-em-ups using shared-screen, and first-person shooters felt even more immersive with split-screen letting everyone see things from their own angle. Following this weak start to the year, another series, Gonron Egg, which began in October 2025, also appears to be in trouble. After only 14 chapters, the manga has jumped forward three years in the story. Given the current situation, Gonron Egg seems to be heading towards a conclusion, and it might end with fewer than 20 chapters.

Mewgenics is a new strategy RPG developed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel, the minds behind The Binding of Isaac and The End is Nigh. After being announced back in 2012, the game finally launched and is proving to be incredibly popular. Within hours of its release on Steam, over 58,900 people were playing it simultaneously. Beyond the strong player numbers, Mewgenics is receiving rave reviews, currently boasting an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam and a Metacritic score of 89 – making it the highest-rated game released this year so far.
A recent report from Variety details the financial performance of Avatar: Fire and Ash. While the film has grossed $1.4 billion, that number isn’t as strong when you consider Disney invested around $500 million in production and marketing. The film needs to earn roughly $1.5 billion to break even, and it’s unlikely to reach that goal. Although Disney will still profit from the movie through other means, the situation is worrisome given the high cost of making it. Fire and Ash has earned nearly $900 million less than the previous Avatar film, The Way of Water.
