Amy shared a message on her Instagram Story, originally written by Hannah Rosenberg, that said her life is enriched by the women she loves. These women support her through both joyful and difficult times, and always lift her up when she’s feeling down.
The post went on to say, “If you’re connecting with these women, keep in mind: while the idea of a soulmate is nice, notice how amazing these relationships are and how good they make you feel.”
Amy made these statements shortly after she and Chris revealed they were separating after seven years of marriage.
Amy shared at the time that she and her partner deeply care for each other and are committed to raising their son together.

Although the actress from Trainwreck didn’t explain why they broke up, she clarified that it wasn’t because Amy lost weight and started dating someone else, or because Chris is a talented and attractive chef.
“Amicable and all love and respect,” the 44-year-old concluded her post. “Family forever.”
