It’s notable that Annapurna’s Leanne Loombe described the game as a complete, well-made title that the team is proud to release after the announcements of the Silent Hill f and Silent Hill 2 remakes. Writer and director Jon McKellan of Screen Burn also calls it their largest and most ambitious project to date. Given that recent Silent Hill games cost $69.99, it’s surprising Konami is pricing Townfall lower.

While many reboots and revivals seem like quick attempts to make money, often missing what fans loved about the original shows, and some simply don’t offer a compelling reason to exist, the 2020s have seen a few successful revivals. These stand out because they respect the spirit of the original series while updating the stories for a modern audience.

Even though I’m excited about this God of War trilogy remake, I’m starting to worry about what it means for the next main God of War game. It’s been over three years since God of War Ragnarok came out, and I thought we’d be hearing about the next installment soon. Now, I’m concerned that a sequel to Ragnarok might not happen, as Santa Monica Studio may be focusing on this remake for a long time.

Capcom is having a fantastic moment with the success of games like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, and they even have a highly anticipated new game in the works. However, many would agree that the company was at its absolute peak in the late 90s and early 2000s, releasing a wealth of incredible games. While many of those series are still going strong, some have been put on hold, and Dino Crisis is a prime example. Writer Kevin Sullivan has revealed that The Loud House has quietly been canceled by Nickelodeon after nine seasons. In a social media post, Sullivan announced his departure from the network, explaining it was due to the show ending and no other projects being available for him. He reflected on his 22-year career at Nickelodeon, having worked on shows like Fatherhood, The X’s, The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, TUFF Puppy, and The Loud House. While acknowledging the difficulties facing the animation industry, Sullivan expressed hope that he might continue writing, stating he still has plenty of funny ideas.

Batman movies often fall into the same traps, but some mistakes are particularly glaring. These errors can seriously damage a film, making viewers question its quality overall. Adapting Batman for the big screen is challenging, and sometimes that results in truly bad scenes.

After the success of Amityville, Hollywood just kept churning out remakes for about five years. Platinum Dunes gave us a prequel to their Leatherface film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, and a new take on The Hitcher. They eventually capped things off by revisiting two horror icons: Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger. While their A Nightmare on Elm Street remake pretty much ended this remake phase, I have to say their Friday the 13th is surprisingly good. It’s a shame we never got a sequel, because I heard there were some cool concepts floating around for it.

Although Nintendo hasn’t officially announced whether Splatoon Raiders will have multiplayer, it’s likely to include it, considering how popular the Splatoon series is as a multiplayer game. Even if Raiders focuses on a single-player experience, it’s a good sign for the future of Splatoon, as successful elements from the game could appear in Splatoon 4. Either way, Splatoon fans have something to look forward to!
