Tyra Banks Teases New Life-Size Sequel With Lindsay Lohan

Tyra Banks Teases New Life-Size Sequel With Lindsay Lohan

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in pop culture, I wholeheartedly welcome the potential reunion of Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan for the sequel to their beloved Disney movie “Life-Size.” With over two decades separating them from their first collaboration, it’s a testament to their enduring appeal that fans are still eagerly anticipating a follow-up.

Tyra Banks is ready to shine bright, shine far and be a star once again.

Two decades have passed since I shared the screen with Lindsay Lohan in the 2000 Disney TV movie, “Life-Size.” Now, it seems we may reunite for a sequel, all thanks to a touch of inspiration from everyone’s favorite mini doll, Polly Pocket.

Tyra posted on Instagram, August 13th, “Oh Polly Pocket, though small in stature, you’re vast in memories and inspiration! Many young girls have carried you around only to discover you in the depths of the laundry machine.” She was referring to Airbnb’s new Polly Pocket-themed home.

As ideas began streaming in, she remarked, “I bet countless children who adored the Life-Size film imagined you while watching; perhaps it’s high time we both revisit this little spot and brainstorm a new screenplay. How does that sound to you, @lindsaylohan?”

The 50-year-old signed off writing, “xo Eve/TyTy,” a nod to her character’s name in the movie.

Fans were thrilled by the hint, with one exclaiming, “Oh, how we long for another full-scale film adaptation!”

Another fan excitedly requested, “Please give us a life-sized sequel!!!” Meanwhile, one user expressed hopefulness but also caution, saying, “Tyra, let’s hope this isn’t a tease!!!”

The 2000 film featured Tyra’s character, Eve doll, being unintentionally animated by Lindsay’s character, Casey. They soon discovered they had much to teach one another. However, in the finale, Eve was determined to excel wherever she ended up and enchanted herself back into a doll.

In the year 2018, Tyra put on her plastic high heels once more for the movie “Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve.” Francia Raisa, portraying the CEO of a toy company, received assistance from Tyra’s character Eve in learning to assert herself.

Though Tyra reveled in being stardust and moonlight once more, there was a tinge of melancholy as Lindsay wasn’t present with her this time.

In a 2018 interview on The Talk, as reported by People, she expressed, “Life-Size wouldn’t be Life-Size without you,” referring to Lindsay. They had starred in the movie together 18 years prior and their collaboration was instrumental in making it the cult classic it is today.

She even referenced Lindsay’s family, including siblings Cody Lohan and Ali Lohan, as well as dad Michael Lohan, adding, “I remember them when they were little kids when we shot together — just know that sister TyTy is sending all of you guys kisses.”

Regarding Lindsay, while she hasn’t mentioned plans for a follow-up to the Disney movie, she has returned to the Disney family and is at present filming a sequel to the 2003 hit “Freaky Friday,” titled “Freakier Friday.”

Furthermore, in an interview with People back in March, the woman aged 37 expressed her eagerness, saying, “I’m thrilled to collaborate with Jamie Lee Curtis once more and explore where this partnership might lead us next.”
