The action-packed Game Science title, “Black Myth: Wukong,” has just been released and is already making waves on PC. As I write this, SteamDB reports an impressive 1,443,570 simultaneous players, a remarkable feat given that the game’s only been out for a short while.
The achievement is even more noteworthy as it surpassed the highest simultaneous player records set by games such as Elden Ring (953,426) and Cyberpunk 2077 (1,054,388). The game’s response from Steam players has been exceptional too, with a whopping 95% of its 36,468 user reviews being positive. This outstanding feedback granted the title an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating.
In our formal appraisal, we gave Black Myth: Wukong a perfect score of 10/10, highlighting its exceptional combat, art style, and storyline. While the narrative benefits from reading Journey to the West, the Chinese novel it’s based on, the plot itself is simple enough to comprehend.
