As a seasoned observer of Hollywood’s intricate tapestry, I find myself constantly drawn to the fascinating dynamics that unfold amongst its luminaries. The feud between Shonda Rhimes and Katherine Heigl, two formidable figures from the world of Grey’s Anatomy, is one such captivating tale.
As a dedicated follower, I wouldn’t shy away from expressing my feelings about the cheating rumors swirling around and the one who propagated them – my fellow cast member Nicole Young, on Selling Sunset.
In the eighth season of the reality TV series, which began streaming on Netflix on September 6th, Nicole shares in a private conversation, “I’ve been told by a trusted individual that Emma might have been involved with a married man.” She initially brought up this gossip on social media about a month ago.
Emma shared with TopMob News during an interview on September 12 that she was utterly taken aback by the situation. She admitted that she wasn’t aware of it throughout the entire season. In fact, she learned about it only when they received advance copies (screeners). It’s shocking and appalling, she added.
Emma countered the allegations, stating that Nicole was not a compulsive liar or despicable individual, as some had claimed; instead, she asserted that those rumors were false.
Emma asserted, “There’s absolutely no validity to this claim.” She lamented that she had no opportunity to refute it and present evidence supporting her stance.
The realtor expressed her intention not to engage with that individual, whom she considers unpleasant, and is insisting that Nicole issues an apology.
She went on, expressing her strong feelings: “You behaved in a terrible manner towards me, and I expect a heartfelt apology. Furthermore, let me make it clear that this situation isn’t resolved. The harm inflicted upon me is significant. What you did is despicable. It’s not just disrespectful; it’s also slanderous and defamatory.
TopMob News contacted Nicole and Netflix for a response regarding the allegations, but we haven’t received any feedback yet.
In the meantime, Emma mentioned that her fellow cast members are backing her up. Specifically, she received messages from Chelsea Lazkani, Jason Oppenheim, and Brett Oppenheim.
Chrishell Stause, a cast member on the show Selling Sunset, claimed on her Instagram Stories on August 31 that Nicole had spread a distasteful falsehood about a close friend of hers. Later, Chelsea made a post on her own social media platform stating that Emma was the person being referred to in this incident.
In a post on her Instagram story, Nicole expressed her firm belief in the importance and purity of all marriages as a married woman. She also suggested that instead of criticizing or questioning her honesty, other women should consider asking their close friends some challenging questions.
Yet, Chrishell later reiterated her support for Emma, telling TopMob News cohost Keltie Knight in a Sept. 5 interview, “Nicole was able to make a rumor about my best friend that I know is not true. She’s going to be able to prove that it isn’t true, but she wasn’t given the chance on the show to prove as much.”
In the sixth season of “Selling Sunset,” which premiered in 2023, Chrishell and Nicole have been at odds. However, Chrishell has made it clear that she does not foresee reconciling with Nicole.
“Absolutely not,” she said. “I think she’s proven the snake that she is.”
Nicole declined to comment on Chrishell’s remarks when reached by TopMob News.
