Camp Rock 3 Will Feature Some Of The Original Movie’s Songs, And There’s One I Really Hope They Include

As people look forward to new beginnings in the new year, a wave of nostalgia is coming to television. Disney has announced a new Camp Rock movie, with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato returning as executive producers. While the film will introduce a new group of aspiring musicians at Camp Rock, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas will reprise their roles as Jason, Shane, and Nate (Connect 3). The sequel will also include some of the beloved songs from the original movie – and fans are hoping their favorites make the cut!

Even though the new Camp Rock movie features a largely new cast and several new songs, it will still evoke a sense of nostalgia. This isn’t just due to the return of the Jonas Brothers and Maria Canals-Barrera. Director Veronica Rodriguez shared with Entertainment Weekly that the film will also include some well-loved songs from previous installments.

We’ve included some of our classic songs, both updated and in their original form – they still sound great! Plus, you’ll hear some brand new music alongside those beloved tracks from the original movies.

The Camp Rock movies are known for their catchy Disney songs, and we can expect the upcoming Camp Rock 3 to continue that tradition. As a longtime fan, I’m especially excited to hear that the new film will include songs from the very first Camp Rock, either as they were originally performed or with a fresh take.

There are so many great musical numbers to choose from, but I’m really hoping “We Rock” from Camp Rock makes the cut. It was the movie’s finale, and it was incredibly energetic! The whole cast performed together, singing about their amazing summer at Camp Rock and their passion for music.

A third Camp Rock movie could easily happen with a new group of young musicians, either as a final installment or integrated into the story. If the Jonas Brothers returned, they could reprise their roles and either sing their original songs or mentor the new generation. Fans are also hoping for a cameo from Demi Lovato, perhaps even performing her signature song, if she were to return as Mitchie Torres. Keeping the popular jam sessions from the first movie, or a new ‘Final Jam’, would be a great way to connect the films.

While the updated songs won’t be identical to the originals, it will still be fun to revisit them. It’s tough to say exactly what Camp Rock 3 will be like, but it seems like there’s something for everyone – both longtime fans and newcomers. I’m definitely curious to see how it turns out! We’ll all just have to wait and watch when it premieres on Disney Channel this summer, and for those who have Disney+, they can watch it there too.
