It’s an extra special holiday season for the Cyrus family.

Okay, so the love is definitely in the air in the Cyrus family! Just weeks after Miley announced her engagement to Maxx Morando, I’m thrilled to share that her sister, Brandi Cyrus, is also engaged! Her partner, Matt South, proposed at the very place they first met – how sweet is that? It’s such a romantic story, and I’m sending them both all my best wishes!

Brandi shared on Instagram that she’s incredibly grateful her flight was cancelled, because that’s how she met the person who is now her best friend and the love of her life. She posted, ‘I’m so thankful everyday that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you. You’re my very best friend and everything I’ve spent my whole life looking for.’

The host of the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, who recently went public with her relationship with Matt, finished with a heartfelt, “I love you forever!”

Matt is also thrilled to spend the rest of his life with Brandi. He commented on her post, saying he doesn’t know what he did to deserve such a wonderful woman, but he’s thankful for her every single day and loves her very much.

Brandi’s post was met with support from her mother, Tish Cyrus, who reacted with three heart emojis, and friend Kaitlyn Bristowe, who commented, “So happy for you.”

Miley recently got engaged after a trip to Japan with Maxx.

Miley recently told viewers on Good Morning America that it takes a lot to surprise her, as she generally likes to be in control of things. She explained that she had let go of that control in this particular situation, and was genuinely shocked by what happened.
