Sony is giving away a free gift worth $33 to all PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro owners. You don’t need a PlayStation Plus membership to claim it! However, you’ll need to redeem the offer before it expires on March 18, 2026. This offer is only for PS5 owners – PlayStation 4 users won’t be able to participate.
To get this offer, you’ll need a PlayStation Network (PSN) account. If you have one and Apple Music is available in your country, you can get three months of Apple Music for free. Normally, an individual Apple Music subscription costs $11 per month, making this a $33 value. While students and families have different pricing options, $11 a month is the standard cost for most users.
Is There a Catch for PS5 Users?
These deals are often for new customers, but this one is special – it’s open to some returning customers as well. Sony hasn’t explained exactly who qualifies, but it likely excludes people who already have an active subscription that would combine with this offer. That’s just our best guess, though.
To take advantage of this offer, open the Apple Music app on your device. If you don’t have Apple Music, you’ll need to download it first. New or returning Apple Music subscribers without an active subscription should see the offer and instructions within the app. You’ll also need an Apple account if you don’t already have one.
Sony has run promotions like this before, partnering with Apple Music and Apple TV, so this new deal isn’t unexpected. It’s notable that they haven’t included subscriptions from other companies, which might mean this is an exclusive arrangement with Apple.
