The eighth episode of Starfleet Academy, titled “The Life of the Stars,” takes a different approach by exploring the emotional aftermath of a battle between the students and terrifying alien creatures called the Furies. It also addresses a puzzling question from earlier in the season: why the Doctor is reluctant to help SAM, a holographic being who asked him to be her mentor. The explanation, surprisingly, connects to a memorable episode from Voyager.

Square Enix’s Best RPG Gets New Release, Free for Some

Square Enix has recently launched a new version of Final Fantasy 7 for PC, available on both Steam and GOG. This release replaces the older version, which is no longer available for purchase. Existing owners of the previous version, known as Final Fantasy VII – 2013 Edition, can still play it, and will receive the new version as a free update. New players can purchase the updated version for $11.99.

One Piece Delays Highly Anticipated Spin-Off

The spin-off story featuring Tony Tony Chopper, announced last year, will explore Chopper’s experiences outside of the main One Piece world, interacting with everyday life and modern technology. This side story isn’t considered part of the main storyline created by Eiichiro Oda. The first volume was originally planned for release on March 4th, but has been delayed until April 23rd. The delay is due to high demand and a desire to print enough copies to meet everyone’s interest.
