The TV show ‘The Boys’ on Prime Video, based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, has become incredibly popular worldwide. It’s a gritty, adult superhero show about a team of vigilantes taking on the corrupt superheroes and the powerful corporation, Vought, that controls them. As Karl Urban’s character, Butcher, desperately tries to defeat Antony Starr’s terrifying character, Homelander, Homelander’s ego, instability, and immense power only grow.

The sequel trilogy kicked off with a sense of both familiar history and intriguing questions, centered around the character Lor San Tekka and his meeting with Poe Dameron on Jakku. He entrusted Dameron with a device, saying it would “begin to make things right.” This line became significant for both the story and the fans, even as the series took unexpected turns.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting news, and finally NBCUniversal has given us an update on The Day of the Jackal! It’s been almost two years since we finished the first season back in December 2024, but they announced at their upfronts that season 2 is coming in 2027. We don’t have an exact date yet, but knowing it’s on the way is fantastic news!
