As a huge movie fan, I was really bummed to hear that two of my favorites, Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, are leaving Netflix on March 1st. The Wolf of Wall Street is this wild ride set in 1987, following a young guy named Jordan Belfort as he climbs the ranks on Wall Street. He eventually starts his own company, Stratton Oakmont, with the goal of making a fortune – and they do, by basically cheating rich investors out of millions. It’s a crazy story of excess, with a lot of partying, but the SEC and FBI are hot on his trail the whole time. Pulp Fiction, meanwhile, is just iconic. It weaves together the stories of a couple of hitmen who love to philosophize, their boss—a gangster named Marsellus Wallace—his wife, a boxer down on his luck, a guy who can fix anything, and some really nervous robbers. It’s a brilliantly interconnected and unforgettable film.

Throughout the team’s history, several key members have seemingly died in dramatic fashion, causing significant shifts within the group. However, they’ve all eventually returned. These seven X-Men have each faced death and lived to share their experiences.

Image Comics has proven its unique approach works, with several of its titles becoming huge hits worldwide. A PlayStation 5 version of the classic 1997 adventure game, Riven, appears to be on the way. While not officially announced, Trophy data for the game has recently appeared on the PlayStation Network, suggesting a release is coming soon. Typically, game Trophies aren’t added to PSN until just before launch, making this discovery a likely leak.

The 2025 film, Predator: Badlands, built on the success of the new direction established by the franchise’s creator. Tratchenberg’s approach proved so effective that viewers found the movie surprisingly easy to follow, even without relying on subtitles. For a long time, fans wondered what happened to Jar Jar Binks. Lucasfilm finally provided an answer within the official Star Wars story. The novel Aftermath: Empire’s End, released on February 21, 2017, reveals that Jar Jar lives a quiet, somewhat lonely life performing as a clown for children on Naboo. He was largely rejected by society after the Empire rose to power, as many blamed him for giving Palpatine emergency powers during the Clone Wars – a decision that ultimately led to the Empire’s creation. In the book, Jar Jar shares his story with a young boy named Mapo, who wants to learn from him, and Jar Jar welcomes the companionship.

As a huge X-Men fan, I’ve played a lot of their video games over the years – and there have been so many!
