Following a successful first season, Amazon has confirmed that a second season of Young Sherlock is in production.

The movie centers on Valentín Arregui, a political activist imprisoned for his beliefs, and Luis Molina, a newly incarcerated gay man jailed for a public offense. They’re forced to share a cell by the prison governor, who hopes Molina can get Arregui to reveal information the authorities haven’t been able to obtain through other means.

The new series began last night, immediately plunging viewers into a worried mother’s plight. Sarah (Joanna Scanlan) became frantic when she couldn’t reach her daughter, Katie (Emily Coates), who was on a school trip in Saint Michel. Sarah was especially concerned after receiving a missed call from Katie late at night, leaving her unsure what to do.

The Dark Knight remains incredibly popular across all forms of entertainment. Currently, two new live-action Batman movies are planned. Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in The Batman – Part II, scheduled for release in 2027. Meanwhile, The Brave and the Bold will be a fresh start for the character within James Gunn’s DC Universe, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Although the original post has been removed, people were able to take screenshots, which you can see below. It’s unclear if this signals a full new game, possibly titled Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, or a smaller, standalone title like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Currently, neither Sony nor Insomniac Games has confirmed anything about a new Marvel’s Spider-Man game.

Each game costs $29.99 and offers a gameplay experience comparable to the originals. For instance, Gothic 2 Complete Classic features over 500 characters, more than 100 quests, and 200+ weapons and spells. Gothic 3 Classic has more than 50 spells and 100 weapons, but it stands out with a huge, open world and tons of optional quests.

Hasbro recently announced plans for a new streaming platform called “Hasbro Legends.” It will offer many of the company’s beloved classic shows – including Transformers, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and Jem And The Holograms – all in one place and available to watch for free. Hasbro aims to reach over seventy million households with this service. The move follows the success of ad-supported streaming platforms like Tubi and Pluto TV, suggesting a growing trend in free, advertisement-based entertainment.

The 1998 horror film Urban Legend, directed by Jamie Blanks, will soon be removed from the Tubi streaming service. While a specific date hasn’t been announced, the movie is listed as leaving the platform. A reboot of the film is also in the early stages of development at Screen Gems, and was confirmed in April 2025. Urban Legend takes place at a New England college, where students are being killed in ways inspired by common urban legends. The cast includes Alicia Witt, Jared Leto, Rebecca Gayheart, and Robert Englund, and the story follows a journalism student as she investigates a disturbing connection to the murders.

It’s rare for Doctor Who to return to the same point in the future. While it has happened before – like in the classic story “The Ark,” where the TARDIS visited the same spaceship carrying refugees from Earth twice – it’s not common. Interestingly, Russell T. Davies recently created a three-part story arc that plays with this idea, even bringing back a character who originally died 19 years ago today.

As a huge fan of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, I was so excited when I saw this rumor going around online! It started on 4Chan, claiming someone at the publisher, Bantam Spectra, had let slip that The Winds of Winter was finished, we’d hear something at Comic-Con, and it would be out this fall. I really wanted to believe it, even though a lot of us were cautious. Unfortunately, Bantam just released a statement to Entertainment Weekly saying it’s all false. It’s really disappointing, but at least we have a clear answer – even if it’s not the one we were hoping for.
