With Debbie and Ronnie’s wedding reception winding down, most of the guests are starting to head back to Weatherfield.

Carl is trying to flee with a stash of mostly counterfeit money, but his sister Debbie unexpectedly joins him in the car. She tries to stop him, but he responds with angry, drunken outbursts about their mother, Elaine, and drives away. Kevin and Abi witness the scene and immediately give chase.

Kit finds Carla and, after learning where Becky is, they quickly head towards Hull. Carla intends to take Lisa and Betsy to Rotterdam, but she’s distracted by a phone call while driving, leading to a terrible accident.

Todd desperately asks Billy for a ride home so he can gather his belongings before Theo gets back, but he misses his chance and ends up on the minibus heading to Manchester. Meanwhile, Shona and David are shocked to discover Cassie trapped inside the bathroom of the bridal suite, and Tracy is suspected of locking her in.
