The popular show The Traitors has returned for a new season, much to the delight of its dedicated fans.
Once again, twenty-two guests were invited to a stunning castle in the Scottish Highlands for a game of mystery, betrayal, and figuring out who can be trusted – but this time, one of them is secretly working against the group.
Let me tell you, one of the guys caught in this mess is Maz – a regular family man who also happens to work for the government. And tonight, he’s suddenly a target for murder! Seems some secret traitor has put him on their hit list, and that’s never a good sign.
Before the next episode airs, let’s find out more about Maz, one of the contestants on season 4 of The Traitors.
Who is Maz from The Traitors?

Age: 59
Job: Civil Servant
Location: Preston
Maz, a 59-year-old Preston resident and civil servant, is entering the competition with the goal of providing for his large and growing family.
Maz is a dedicated family man – a father of five, with his youngest child recently starting university at age eighteen. He’s also a grandfather to five, including a set of twins, and is excitedly awaiting another grandchild.
Maz is confident he’d be a valuable member of the cast, offering a sense of humor, a calm demeanor, and a welcoming presence.
Why did Maz apply for The Traitors?
I was so excited to learn that Maz was applying for The Traitors – he’s a huge fan, just like me! He’s always loved watching the missions and the competitive side of things, but he’s told me that what really draws him in are the conversations and connections the players make with each other. That’s what he enjoys most about the show.
I think he’s really well-suited for this – he’s incredibly driven and competitive, but also a great team player. Playing football definitely taught him how to collaborate with others, and I think that’ll be a huge asset.
I’m confident I can bring a lot of enthusiasm and motivation to the team. I’m definitely a team player – when I’m on the field, I’m always encouraging my teammates and trying to boost their confidence, but I don’t try to dominate or take over.
“I enjoy being part of a team, having fun, and trying to get the job done,” he said.
