Crunchyroll has announced when the English dub of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 will be available. New dubbed episodes will be released shortly after they air in Japan. This is welcome news for fans who have been waiting to continue watching the My Hero Academia spin-off.
My Hero Academia Vigilantes: Season 2 gets same day English dub release date
Crunchyroll announced that Season 2 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will be available with English dubbing on the same day it premieres in Japan. The new season will begin streaming worldwide on January 5, 2026.
This anime is based on the manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, created by writer Hideyuki Furuhashi and artist Betten Court. The series began in 2016 and ran for almost six years, finishing in 2022 with a total of 15 volumes. As a spin-off of My Hero Academia, Vigilantes tells the story of heroes who fight crime without official licenses or support.
Production for Season 2 is underway at BONES FILM, with Kenichi Suzuki directing again. Yōsuke Kuroda is once more in charge of the series’ overall structure, and Takahiko Yoshida is responsible for the character designs. Yuki Hayashi, along with Shōgo Yamashiro and Yūki Furuhashi, are composing the music. The new season is planned to have 13 episodes.
When Crunchyroll announced the show’s release, they also shared who voices the English dub cast and the team behind it. Jack Broadbent will voice Koichi, and Macy Anne Johnson will voice Pop. Christopher Wehkamp will play Aizawa, and Kyle Hebert will voice Fat Gum. Manuel Aragon directed the dub, Zach Bolton produced it, Matthew Greenbaum wrote the adaptation, and Rickey Watkins handled the audio mixing.
You can currently watch the first season of the series on Crunchyroll. The story centers around Koichi Haimawari, a college student who gave up on his dream of being a hero. Everything changes when he and Pop☆Step are saved by Knuckleduster, a mysterious vigilante. This rescue unexpectedly throws them into a risky and unsanctioned battle for what’s right.
