This week, from January 5th to 9th, 2026, Prime Video has a lot of great shows to watch! You’ll find new releases, rediscovered favorites, critically praised series, and classic shows that will soon be leaving the platform, so don’t miss out.
Ebaster makes streaming easier with weekly guides to what’s new on Prime Video, Netflix, HBO Max, and Paramount+. Every Monday and Friday, we share expert recommendations for binge-watching and highlight the best new shows and movies available on all streaming services.
Spring Fever
Prime Video will debut the new K-drama and romantic comedy, Spring Fever, on Monday, January 5th, with the second episode arriving on Tuesday, January 6th. The complete 12-episode series will then roll out with new episodes every Monday and Tuesday until mid-February.
The new series centers around Yun Bom, a young woman who moves from Seoul to the quiet town of Sinsu to start fresh after a difficult time. As an exchange teacher, she begins to rebuild her life and finds an unexpected ally in Seon Jae Gyu, the kind and dependable CEO of a local energy company, who encourages her to reconnect with the world.
Boiling Point
Despite the huge success of The Bear, which won 21 Emmys, another intense restaurant drama called Boiling Point also received praise from critics, though it didn’t get as much attention. Both the original Boiling Point film from 2021 and its 2023 sequel series are currently available to watch on Prime Video.
Stephen Graham, known for his role in Adolescence, stars in and co-created this 4-part series. It centers on Carly, a chef opening a new restaurant called Point North in London. If you enjoyed the first seasons of The Bear, you won’t want to miss this. With the movie and four episodes, it’s a quick and captivating watch available on Prime Video now.
Beast Games
Fans have been waiting for it, and now Beast Games is back! Season 2 will launch with a three-part premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, January 7th. The first season was a huge hit, breaking records for reality competitions with its massive prize and becoming one of the most popular original series ever on Prime Video.
The second season of Beast Games focuses on a battle between brains and brawn, with 100 “smart” competitors facing off against 100 “strong” ones for a $5 million prize. Hosted by popular YouTuber MrBeast, the show is surprisingly entertaining for viewers of all ages. It’s expected to be a hit on Prime Video, quickly becoming one of the most popular new shows this week and throughout January.
The Night Manager
After almost ten years, season two of The Night Manager is coming to Prime Video this Sunday, January 11th. If you haven’t seen it, or want to revisit it, now’s a great time – it’s one of the best spy thrillers available on the service.
With a fantastic cast including Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Olivia Colman, The Night Manager is a clever, visually appealing, and captivating series. Now’s the perfect time to watch all 6 episodes of season 1 – each about an hour long – before the new season arrives.
Beauty & The Beast
The popular show Beauty & the Beast from the 2010s will no longer be available on Prime Video after Tuesday, January 6th. If you want to watch it, now’s the time before it’s removed from the service.
This show is a modern take on the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. It originally aired on The CW for four seasons (70 episodes) between 2012 and 2016. If you enjoy supernatural dramas with a 2010s vibe, like The Originals, you should check out Beauty & the Beast on Prime Video while it’s still available.
