Cameron Diaz is back in action.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I recently had the pleasure of stepping out to commemorate the exciting collaboration between my wine brand Avaline and the esteemed designer Stella McCartney, in the vibrant Hamptons. To celebrate this momentous occasion, I chose an ensemble from her Spring 2026 collection – a chic double-breasted boyfriend jacket paired with voluminous, floral-embroidered trousers. It was a delightful blend of fashion and wine that made for a memorable experience!
The July 12 cocktail party showcasing the brand’s special French rosé limited edition boasted a shining array of attendees. Notable figures such as Andy Cohen, Emma Roberts, Alexandra Daddario, Gucci Westman, Jeff Koons, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, and Hannah Bronfman were present, alongside Cameron’s longtime friend, Drew Barrymore.
It’s not surprising at all that Drew attended Cameron’s special event, given their close relationship. Previously, the talk show host, who is 50 years old, has discussed their solid bond and their mutual support.
Reflecting back on the chilly days of January, I, an ardent admirer, found myself reminiscing over Drew’s heartwarming Instagram posts. She had shared a collection of images, chronicling our long-standing friendship journey, and aptly titled it, “And then I met this friend of mine…” Accompanying these photos was a profound caption that read, “All I have to do is stand in her presence, and she sees straight through me, perceiving every aspect of who I am, every value I uphold.
She added, “I’ve never experienced such a depth of perception in my life. When she gazes at me, it feels like she truly recognizes me.
In the early 2000s, they both acted in “Charlie’s Angels”, but it wasn’t until Cameron was 16 and Drew was only 14 that they initially crossed paths.
During a 2021 Instagram live with Cameron, Drew stated, “At one point, I was employed at a coffee shop, and she was a rising model. We’ve gone through birth, life, death, marriage, divorce, ups and downs, jobs, relationships, friendships, travel – there isn’t anything we haven’t shared or experienced together.
Through the ups and downs of life, Drew mentioned that they’ve stood by each other through thick and thin—including when Cameron temporarily stepped away from Hollywood in 2014 to focus on her family and nurturing their children, Raddix, now 4, and Cardinal, who was 16 months old at the time, with husband Benji Madden.
Drew shared during the live broadcast that what he cherishes about our friendship is that we’ve both been present for all the significant and crucial events. Moreover, we’ve also been there in the minor and everyday moments. The reason our friendship works so well is that it’s genuine and we face real challenges together.
She added, “It’s not a Hollywood fairytale.”
