The racing game JDM: Japanese Drift Master was first released on computers through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG on May 21, 2025. It then became available on Xbox Series consoles on November 21, 2025.
Here is an overview of the game, via Gaming Factory:
About
Experience the thrill of Japan’s famous car scene in JDM: Japanese Drift Master! Race on tough mountain roads, visit iconic Japanese drifting locations in officially licensed cars, and enjoy a compelling story told through beautiful, hand-drawn manga. Explore a vast open world where mastering the art of drifting awaits around every corner.
When JDM: Japanese Drift Master launches on Xbox Series and PC, it will include everything that’s currently available, plus all the updates and improvements made since its release on Steam in May 2025. This also includes numerous bug fixes and adjustments to the game’s physics and overall gameplay.
Downloadable Content “Made in USA”
When the game releases, players can also download the “Made in USA” pack, which includes six unique, unofficial vehicles inspired by American muscle cars and drifting culture. This pack will cost $5.99.
Recent Updates on Xbox Series and PC
As a huge fan, I was so excited to see the recent update for the Xbox Series and PC versions! They added five awesome new cars from the Akina family – basically, some classic JDM rides that anyone who loves a certain manga and anime will instantly recognize. And that’s not all – they also dropped a bunch of new tracks for the Eurobeat radio station, including absolute bangers like ‘Running In The 90’s’ by Max Coveri and ‘The Top’ by Ken Blast. It seriously makes the driving experience even better!
This update improves performance by reducing loading times in the open world and when fast traveling. We’ve also adjusted the Easy difficulty level and made small improvements to how vehicles handle in the arcade driving mode, plus fixed a number of bugs.
