At CES 2026 this week, ASUS unveiled a wide range of new products, including the newest ASUS Zenbook Duo. This innovative laptop boasts two 14-inch screens, a detachable keyboard, and a stand that can be adjusted for comfortable use.
The update was anticipated, but ASUS also surprised everyone by revealing a new version of the Duo: the ROG Zephyrus Duo. This new model, part of their ROG gaming line, is specifically built for gamers and creative professionals.
I’m a digital artist and avid gamer, so I’m really excited about the new ROG Zephyrus Duo.
Our review of the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2025) by Ben Wilson shows we were really impressed with how easily the previous model switched between horizontal and vertical views, thanks to its strong, adjustable stand. We also liked that the keyboard could attach magnetically to one of the screens if you only needed a single display. The Zephyrus Duo offers many of the same great features.
The Zenbook Duo and Zephyrus Duo are adaptable laptops great for both work and play. The latest 2026 versions improve on previous models with faster Intel AI processors, longer battery life, and other enhancements.
ASUS Zenbook Duo vs ROG Zephyrus Duo

Naturally, I wanted to see how the Zenbook Duo (2026) stacks up against the new Zephyrus Duo, so I put together a chart based on all the specs that have been announced so far.
As of today, ASUS has shared detailed specifications for the Zenbook Duo, including its different models. I’ve compiled all of this information, along with the specs I’ve found for the new ROG Zephyrus Duo, in the chart below.

The Zephyrus Duo has bigger 16-inch OLED touchscreens, while the Zenbook Duo has 14-inch OLED screens. This larger display on the Zephyrus Duo is especially helpful for creative tasks and gaming.
Given its bigger screens, more memory and storage, and a much more powerful NVIDIA graphics card, it’s understandable that the Zephyrus Duo (6.28 pounds) is considerably heavier than the Zenbook Duo (3.64 pounds).
The Zenbook Duo (2026) is great for everyday tasks like office work or school, but the Zephyrus Duo is a more powerful option for demanding activities such as playing high-end games or using professional creative tools like 3D rendering software.
I’m really excited about the new Zenbook Duo! It’s coming out soon, with the Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor expected around January 2026. But if you’re after something with a bit more power, the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H version is slated to arrive in February 2026 – I might just wait for that one!
The price of the new Zenbook Duo (2026) hasn’t been announced yet, but it will be sold at Best Buy and on the ASUS website. The previous model started at $1,699.99, so we expect the 2026 version to be more expensive. Factors like tariffs, increased DRAM costs, and GPU shortages could also push the price up.
We don’t yet know when the Zephyrus Duo will be released, nor how much it will cost. Given its powerful components, it’s expected to be more expensive than the Zenbook Duo (2026), but we’ll need to wait for official pricing details.

We’re curious to hear your thoughts on the new Zenbook Duo (2026) and Zephyrus Duo! Would you consider buying either of these laptops? Let us know in the comments which one you prefer and what you like about it.
