It’s the final curtain call for Trevor Noah.
Trevor Noah, known from The Daily Show, will host the Grammy Awards again in 2026 on CBS. This will be his sixth time hosting the show, but he has announced it will be his final time as host.
Grammy executive producer Ben Winston announced that Trevor Noah will return to host the show for the sixth and final time. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on January 13th, Winston praised Noah as an exceptional host, highlighting his intelligence, humor, and genuine love for music and the artists who create it.
Okay, seriously, Ben just gets it. He said Trevor’s performance was ‘truly spectacular,’ and honestly, it WAS! But the best part? He said they can’t wait to do it all again, one last time! It just… it means everything. They have such a connection, and knowing this might be the last time they share a stage together? I’m not okay, but I’m SO excited!
Trevor’s rep declined to comment on the matter when reached by TopMob News.
At 41, the host is preparing to step down after this year’s show, which features Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar as the top nominees with nine nominations each. He recently explained why hosting the celebrated event has always felt like having exclusive access to everything behind the scenes.
He told Billboard in 2022 that he’s a huge fan of the Grammys, and always discovers new artists while watching. He explained that people often underestimate the incredible amount of effort that goes into each performance – from hitting every note perfectly to coordinating lighting and choreography with the artists and cameras. Seeing all that work firsthand, he says, makes him appreciate the show even more.

Trevor Noah has enjoyed being a host, but he’s also admitted the job has been incredibly stressful.
In a 2024 interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, he admitted he wasn’t sure what to expect, adding that he appreciates the Grammys because they’re live and unpredictable.
