Amanda Seyfried has been on the frontlines of Channing Tatum’s pranks.
Oh my gosh, she just revealed this amazing story! Apparently, when she was on set with him for Dear John back in 2010, he totally made everything even more exciting. I mean, I always knew he was magical, but to hear this… it just confirms it! It’s like he just radiates charisma, even behind the scenes. I’m obsessed with everything about this!
Amanda shared a surprising story in an interview with Deadline published on January 15th. She said someone once urinated on her leg while she was on the beach, and she didn’t notice right away. She eventually realized that was why he was standing so close, and was understandably surprised.
Amanda said Channing’s prank nearly caused trouble for someone else, and she had to step in to help them avoid the fallout.
The actress from Housemaid explained that a small amount of something ended up in a coffee cup nearby, causing her to scream. A makeup artist then reached for the cup to drink, but the actress stopped her.
Nonetheless, Amanda’s time on set with Channing was a good time.
I had a really fun and playful connection with Channing Tatum while filming Dear John,” she explained to Deadline. “We constantly joked around and had a great time together – he’s incredibly funny, and we just really enjoyed working with each other.”

Even though the movie Dear John, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, came out over ten years ago, actress Amanda Seyfried hasn’t stopped thinking about it. The film tells the love story of soldier John Tyree, played by Channing Tatum, and college student Savannah.
I was so touched to see how close Amanda and Channing still are! She recently shared some adorable throwback photos from a 2021 set – just silly black-and-white shots of them making faces at the camera. She captioned it ‘#tbt DEAR JOHN,’ and it totally reminded me of their fun connection. It’s really sweet to see they’re still friends!
Amanda had previously told TopMob News about her relationship with Channing while filming, and called him her “favorite co-star” at the time.
Channing and I have a similar way of dealing with things,” she explained in June 2015. “We don’t get too stressed out, but we’re working on a really emotional movie—a love story that’s likely to make people cry. So, we like to keep things light and have fun on set.

Nicole has always loved the films made by her sister-in-law. A few years ago, she got the chance to ask her to recreate some memorable scenes, and they even acted out a bit from My Best Friend’s Wedding.
During a May 2024 appearance on the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast, she recounted telling Cameron, ‘I need you to run towards me from behind the luggage cart, towards the airport.’ She explained that she was directing Cameron, essentially telling her what to say while they were driving. She added that Cameron was incredibly accommodating and willingly followed her instructions, which she appreciated.

Thankfully, Lawrence was available to spend time with us, otherwise we might have missed out on seeing one of our favorite friendships blossom. Their connection began when the Oscar-winning actress emailed Amy Schumer after watching her 2015 movie, Trainwreck. Lawrence admitted she wrote, ‘I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.’ They started emailing back and forth, which eventually turned into texting.
But their friendship truly became strong when Schumer casually invited Lawrence to join her and her high school friends for a trip to the Hamptons. Schumer was surprised when Lawrence accepted, but quickly realized she was ‘the coolest person you’ll ever meet,’ as she shared on The Daily Show. Lawrence fit right in, becoming ‘one of the gang.’

They instantly connected when they met at the premiere of Man on Fire in 2004. Lopez described it as an immediate, strong connection – someone who makes you laugh and who you genuinely enjoy being around.
Remini was also a proud supporter when Lopez performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration. She told TopMob News she messaged Lopez, reminding her of her Bronx roots and saying the performance was inspiring and beautiful to watch.

Considered the ultimate celebrity friendship, this group has remained incredibly close since they first bonded while working on the Warner Brothers lot. According to a source, their shared experience on the show Friends created a strong foundation for their relationship. Just like staying in touch with former colleagues, they prioritize making time for each other—whether it’s casual get-togethers or larger reunions. The source notes that it’s easy for them to connect, with frequent dinners at Courteney’s or pool parties at Jennifer’s, and they all feel a lasting, deep connection.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have been incredibly close friends ever since they met in an improv class in 1993, and they consider each other family. Oh my gosh, when Josh and Katie first met on the Dawson’s Creek set, it was instant. Seriously, like those stories about love at first sight? That was them! They just clicked as friends, and then it was immediately… everything. Wine, cigarettes, even getting into trouble at bars – they just got each other. And that connection? It’s still there, you can totally see it after all these years! I mean, I’m so lucky we get to see little glimpses of their life together – them on red carpets, matching outfits, and even Katie’s amazing hair transformations, like that perfect millennial pink! It’s just… everything a fan could ask for.

Drake and Adele, despite only recently considering a partnership, seem eager to work together. After years of admiring each other’s music – they’ve won a combined 19 Grammy Awards – they started talking about a possible collaboration. Adele mentioned to etalk that she’d love to create an official remix with Drake, sharing her affection for him and even revealing she’d recently ordered the red coat he wore in a music video. Drake responded with similar enthusiasm, jokingly offering to do chores for Adele. Instead of immediately recording, they opted for a casual outing, enjoying a meal and a bowling trip in Los Angeles. Perhaps a collaboration is just a phone call away.

She often has open and honest conversations with close friends like Eva Longoria, as she shared with Entertainment Tonight. The friendship between two prominent television personalities began in 1976 while they worked at a Baltimore station. Although Oprah Winfrey was an anchor and Gayle King a production assistant, and they didn’t usually mix socially due to the newsroom’s structure, a snowstorm brought them together. Oprah invited Gayle, who earned $12,000 a year as a PA, to stay with her. The next day, they went shopping at the mall, and a lasting friendship began – sparked by a shared interest in sweaters at Casual Corner.

While your dates probably don’t involve Wimbledon finals or palace visits, Meghan Markle and a certain tennis champion actually connected in a very relatable way. They first met at a 2014 Super Bowl event and immediately bonded. As Meghan wrote on her now-closed website, The Tig, they spent the time taking pictures, laughing during a flag football game, and chatting about everyday things – not tennis or acting, but typical ‘girly stuff’.

Even though Game of Thrones is over, the close bond between Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams remains strong. Williams, who was a bridesmaid at Turner’s wedding to Joe Jonas in 2019, believes the most valuable outcome of the show’s eight seasons wasn’t its 12 Emmy Awards. She playfully told TopMob News at the final premiere that the series felt like an elaborate plan to help her find a best friend. “It’s been incredible,” she added, “and having a friend like Sophie during something as crazy as Game of Thrones has been a true blessing.”

Everyone’s heart probably melted seeing Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s adorable reaction when their oldest daughter, James, recognized Taylor Swift’s song “Gorgeous” at a concert. But the genuine friendship between the families – marked by Fourth of July celebrations at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home, gatherings at Reynolds and Lively’s New York country house, and appearances in Swift’s music videos – is something special and worth cherishing.

Witherspoon recalled thinking it was a strange question, but Aniston was just being supportive. Witherspoon said Aniston was incredibly sweet, and they’ve been close friends ever since.

It blossomed into their VH1 cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Snoop Dogg explained to LA Weekly that Martha is different from people he’s usually around, but in a good way. He appreciates that despite their different backgrounds and generations, she’s genuinely relatable and down-to-earth.
