The spine-tingling action game titled “Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau” can now be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a price of $13.99. This revelation comes from the publishers AMATA Games and developers Noto Muteki.
Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau first launched for PC via Steam on October 4, 2024.
Here is an overview of the game, via AMATA Games:
In the game “Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau”, unlike traditional Japanese horror games, you’re not just a passive observer; instead, you pose a threat to the spirits, making you just as menacing as they are!
The narrative unfolds in Japan, a land where the government handles exorcisms. Our main character, Mizuki Shirakawa, hails from the Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau, serving as an exorcist. Mizuki journeys to Saiga Village, located in Nara, to unravel a puzzle that has erased all traces of the village’s trances from the internet. Upon her arrival, she finds that every villager has vanished and the village is plagued by an abnormal presence of malevolent spirits.
In the village, power supply for electricity, communication lines, and internet access have all abruptly stopped, and Shiraishi discovers that there’s someone orchestrating this occurrence from behind the scenes.
Shiraishi delves into the enigma, receiving guidance over the radio from her supervisor Kohinata and her fellow team member Maruoka.
