Several Pokémon Trading Card Game sets are planned for 2026. With sets like Ascended Heroes already released this year and the recent announcement of Perfect Order, fans have a lot to anticipate. Recently, images of the January 2026 set, which will first release in Japan, have appeared online.
A special Pokémon card set is being released in Japan on January 23rd. These cards will eventually be available in English as part of the Perfect Order set, which is coming out in late March. The Japanese set contains 80 main cards, and you can see them now on Pokebeach. Plus, some rare illustrated versions of the cards are starting to surface, and Pokebeach has unofficial translations available.
Pokémon’s January Set Cards Are Online Now
The new Pokémon card set releasing in Japan this January, nicknamed “Nullifying Zero” by Pokebeach, heavily features Mega Zygarde, similar to the upcoming English set called Perfect Order. A highly sought-after card from the Japanese set, Mega Zygarde ex, has already been revealed in English because of the official Pokémon TCG announcement about Perfect Order earlier this month.
The January set includes 80 regular cards and at least 3 secret rares. Compared to the ‘Perfect Order’ set, which has over 120 cards, we anticipate the upcoming ‘Nullifying Zero’ set will have a similar number, possibly around 120 total. This is partly because ‘Perfect Order’ only numbered its cards up to 88.
Highlights From The Latest Batch Of Pokémon Cards
Beyond the powerful Mega Zygarde ex, the upcoming set has a lot more to offer! We’ve gotten a sneak peek at beautifully illustrated rare cards featuring Espurr, Talonflame, and Clefairy. Plus, Pokebeach has revealed all the ex cards that will be included in the main set.

So far, only English versions of Meowth ex and Mega Zygarde ex have been revealed. These cards are likely to appear in the upcoming set, Perfect Order, which will be released on March 27, 2026, with pre-release events starting on March 14.
Good news for Pokémon fans! The English version of Ascended Heroes will be released on January 30, 2026, and McDonald’s is bringing back Pokémon cards in Happy Meals to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
